Continuation of Part I. Namely, in regard to the two copies of the 14-film DVD set that I own. I didn’t realize this back when I made the first post. It was a fun little oddity I noticed sometime afterwards:
Compare my original set on the left, to my newer set on the right. Now, see if you can spot the difference between the two. ^_^

Poor Littlefoot is missing the inside of his mouth! If you look closer, you can see that the rest of his line art, and even his eyes, aren’t properly coloured in either and are a pure white with no shading.
It appears to be a one-off misprint/colouring error, since my other set doesn’t have it. A few months ago when I made a grocery trip to my local Walmart, I passed by their DVD area and saw that they had multiple copies of the same 14-film set, and none of those had the colouring error either.
The other thing I wanted to show off was my brand-new set of the TV series.
Not related to my aforementioned Walmart trip, as it was only the film sets they were selling there, not the TV series set. This set I ordered from Amazon. Either way, this was a notable release event for the Land Before Time fandom, as for a long time, the TV series did not have an official DVD release. In fact, according to Amazon, it was released on June 7, 2022. That’s why I didn’t say anything about a TV series set back in my first DVD post, since at the time, it didn’t exist. My first post was written back in 2020, before the set had come out. When I was doing my TV episode reviews in 2019-2020, the episodes were conveniently available on the official Land Before Time YouTube channel, which I definitely appreciated. Still, I’m happy that now we have an official physical release of the TV series.
Finally, as a bit of an unrelated side bonus I wanted to mention. On that bottom image in the first post, the ‘Bonus Materials.’ I was playing the DVD on my computer at the time when I made that screencap of the menu. Around the edges of the menu, you can see a tiny bit of another image, which was my desktop background. Fittingly enough, it was an image of the Yellowbellies from the 13th movie. Here’s the full image in all its glory! (click to enlarge)
A friend from the Land Before Time fandom (user ‘Anagnos’) found that and shared it with the rest of the community. He originally found it on WallpaperCave.com, on a list of Land Before Time wallpapers. The Yellowbelly wallpaper was uploaded by user ‘code3’. Albeit, I’m not sure if ‘code3’ themselves were the original artist, and/or who the actual name of the artist is. It’s a lovely (and funny) piece of art either way.
Well that seems like a good note to leave off with; Littlefoot, Cera, and those cheerful Yellowbellies with their nice, smiling faces. Happy New Year everyone!
